yeah everything now is like “cool trailer” or “i liked this i guess” only gets spicy when a truly shitty movie comes out that people love, which is why we really need Tenet to drop already (jk)
that smoking smarties thing was and still is hilarious but it’s not the first time an AP user made it to tv! Remember that “ghost ball” guy? Ha. I miss AP.
it definitely isn’t jack appleby that dude’s entire life is predicated on wanting billionaires to exist
RIP John Lewis and Breaking Down Kanye’s Presidential Campaign With GLC | Higher Learning — Higher Learning with Van Lathan and Rachel Lindsay — Overcast GLC went on a podcast to discuss everything that’s been happening this week and him planning on going to WY to try to help (i guess he’s the guy who took the MAGA hats away from kanye)
I was banned/suspended at least a few time in the AP days for arguing with Jason. At least once during the TLOP era, I’ve definitely chilled out the last 4 years. I was a huge advocate for The Strokes and Is This It? during the AP.net days and that never went well.
at the height of Drive Thru records and the third wave of emo....telling people the best band was actually the one on the radio and magazine covers wasn’t a popular opinion around these parts.
http://news.sky.com/story/kim-karda...-bipolar-disorder-for-the-first-time-12034004 "Kim Kardashian West has spoken out about her husband Kanye West's bipolar disorder for the first time, describing him as a "brilliant but complicated person". Writing on her Instagram story, she said that "those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words sometimes do not align with his intentions".
I was banned for like 6 months for calling someone ( I think it may have been Jason ) a baby in an Android vs Apple argument. Which is funny because I called a lot of people a lot worse things back then.
I remember following that shone nonsense but cant remember just how big and stupid it all actually was haha and if I recall, that album fucking sucked too
Those people are arguably some of THE worst music snobs I ever came in contact with in my life. It was like they thrived to be the IRL equivalent of every trope about hipsters, just awful people.
oh so this is a nostalgia thread now. one thing I've learned in my ap/chorus time is that I can speak my truth on an issue or bubbling argument and just leave.
Shone took the phrase “internet sleuth” to a new level. People mostly thought it was a new Br*nd New album.
