David, Jesus. There were a lot of good posters who didn't make the jump/only made it for a few months. Tyler seventhson, Ghostyouare, Max, Darr when he wasn't being mean, Christos, Odran, Gwen. Even Summerskin Jeff
K Hunt. He was a good dude. Whatever happened to all of the OG staffers over there? Paul Tao, Eda, Kyle, Thomas
Re: Nassiff, now he just makes one of my vinyl dream pressings happen once every couple of years. Good dude
This is now the “do you miss ap.net” thread (even though we already had one not that long ago). David ruled. Introduced me to a Frank O’Hara poem that I still love, even though I was too lazy to dig into poetry beyond that, lol. Wish he were still around this site, now that I grew up & realized that he was right about socialism. And, of course, gotta love that Max Bemis said Jesus would kick him in the balls. Andy also ruled. She liked a post or two of mine on Facebook the other month, randomly; gotta love those unpredictable algorithms. Todd (kearn) disappeared from Facebook & AP.net randomly at the same time & is one of the few users I most wish were still around, maybe even more than Vinh (IWasaCamera). Would love to talk comics with him, now that I’ve gotten back into them over the past six years.
ah, yes. wasn’t there another dude, greg or something?, that reviewed like hundreds of albums for the site lol?
who knows, man. his son was dumb but also like 16 so hopefully he learned/grew up. that dude was like 50 and an entire dumbass.
Was Keagan pretty cool? Seeing all these names is sending me back, and that name just popped up haha. But I don’t remember anything about him other than I know he wrote hella reviews
Lots of names I haven’t seen in forever Dre Okerly(sp?) posted a lot about hardcore and punk, she was awesome
Speaking of forums & nostalgia, according to Facebook, today was the 11th anniversary of the Thrice album Beggars leaking, with the “you are listening to a Vagrant Records advance promotional copy” or whatever tag in every song.
Last time I checked my video is still on YouTube somewhere. I was scrolling through my iTunes the other day and came across that mixtape thing they made. I'm SO glad I never had any desire to try to become part of that FB group or anything.
