It’s 100% to take votes from Biden. He can run as republican and then you’ll see those who are in the middle or lean right but aren’t voting trump then vote for him now instead of Biden. But that’s if he’s even serious about this.

It still surprises me that people read all these grand motives into everything he does when he's plainly just been winging it for the best part of a decade.
