Bound 2 with Charlie Wilson on Jimmy Fallon when he was wearing the leather and green was my all time favorite And the kids choir and The Roots. Was iconic. He still had that swag and he gave a shit. Was at the peak of his powers imo.

Kids See Ghosts, Pusha T (minus the whole cover controversy) and Teyana Taylor (who got hosed) were the best things to come out of that Kanye month. Ye and Nas can get yeeted into the trash,
Ye isn’t great but the songs that do shine on that album are incredible (Thought About Killing You, No Mistake, Ghost Town, Violent Crimes) also Kids See Ghosts is amazing.
Yeah, outside of Ghost Town I thought they were both ass on first listen, and I even felt bad giving him that much of a chance
Both albums have some highlights but mostly a lot of lows. Pablo is pretty much the same way. He still flashes some signs of talent but consistency, quality control, and attention to detail have gone way down. plus he can’t stop saying dumb shit
I mean I really like "Ghost Town" but he even soiled that with the "red hat" line on SNL I do think Kids See Ghosts is quite good, probably because it was worked on for years and not rewritten and rerecorded in two weeks
