So basically everything so far is that it doesn't sound like Sunday Service? Haha

 

Yeah, so far nothing sounds like it.

 

Definitely Christian/gospel influences, and as someone who didn’t like ye, I definitely liked what I heard. Also saw a little documentary and an IMAX film prior to the album

 

i'm foaming at the mouth to hear that clipse feature. fucking CLIPSE.

 

Tell us everything you remember about the album!

 

Plus Chris Brown is on Pablo, so

 

Snippets sound absolutely amazing. The first Clipse feature in years makes sense on here too since Malice is like a hardcore Christian now


Also apparently people who were there say New Body has pretty much entirely different lyrics now, mostly about Jesus and God lol

 

His best song IMHO. I ended up loving Pablo, but I’ll always be disappointed that it didn’t sound like Only One.

I some how had no idea about this album.

 

So I listened to all the clips. I think my expectations are a little tempered. It’s obviousky hard to make any judgements off :15 shitty quality cellphone videos but I think my concerns about the direction are validated. The production sounds up my alley, minimal, 808s/Yeezus vibes, but lyrically it sounds like it could end up being a little ham fisted. We’ll see on Sunday night I suppose.

 

"Closed on Sunday like Chik-fil-a" was a fun lyric I remember lol.

Also Fred Hammond feature Kanye was excited about.

 

I feel like that was roughly around the time of “Fourfiveseconds” and when he was gonna produce a whole Rihanna album. I was super excited for all of it and then it fell apart. That also seemed like the start of his hard right turn.

 

Yeah the whole post yeezus material/build up was so good. All Day too

 

ngl those "Selah" and "LA Monster" clips floating around sound fucking fantastic

I think between that and the lack of dumb shit Twitter activity from him this time around, I'm genuinely kind of excited?

 

Possibly. I'm not really sure. And that's fair to stop supporting him at that time. Just that the Pablo tour (judged solely as a performance) was easily one of the best live experiences I've ever witnessed and I've been to 90+ shows just this year alone.

 

Pablo Your got cancelled when he started saying he would’ve voted for Trump.

That being said I saw the opener in Indy. Hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to. And I’ve seen some bands man.

 

Pablo was when he called Amber his property and worked with Chris Brown and said he wanted to fuck Taylor

 

He's worked with Chris Brown in the last three years? Fucking yikes.
