i don't see how you can have sympathy for the kids and not want kim and kanye to get whatever help they may need. seems like it would have a direct correlation to their well-being.
If them getting help is what it takes for the kids to be safe and taken care of then so be it. I don't independently care about or have sympathy for either of them, though, Kanye expecially.
I mean, there are definitely reasons to not be a huge fan of Kim (the Taylor Swift situation comes to mind) but I think like mentioned previously it’s okay to find faults in people and still actively wish they better themselves in whatever way they can.
I think there's a disconnect here. I can't speak for everyone, but my wish that her and the kids are okay stems from the idea that Kanye has proven to be manipulative and abusive in the past. I can make a jump that many people are expressing their sympathy for her/the kids for the same reason. And for Kanye to seek help, mainly so that he doesn't harm himself or someone else. That's why it's weird to see people come in here and split hairs about explicitly not caring about Kim/him. That's what Aaron was trying to get at. I don't think about her on a daily basis, I'm not supporting any of her endeavors or championing her. This isn't me thinking "Poor Kim", this is me thinking wow I wonder what shit she had to go through behind closed doors. I agree that she has a harmful amount of money. I agree that she has done problematic things in the past. That doesn't mean I can't also think "wow, I am happy that she is out of what was most likely a harmful relationship".
Pretty telling about the Grammys that Kanye literally filmed himself peeing on a Grammy and still won and The Weeknd didn't even get nominated
I think he choose the halftime show over performing at the Grammys so they didn’t nominate him at all.
Was going through the credits on his albums and decided to look at this album and I had zero idea he sampled Two Door Cinema Club on this.
Hmmm, kinda split on that dependent on how it's presented. The rise and fall of an artist definitely is documentary-worthy, but do we need to be giving him a spotlight NOW?
