Cool - I hope he continues to waste millions more on this. He will probably have to hit up Kim for money but I can only hope she leaves him before then.
his embarrassing public flameout has tainted his earlier work and I used to think of that record as his masterpiece, now I just shrug at it
I still know it's a masterpiece, the terrible person he has become doesn't change the music on the album
I’d say 7 tbh but yea. I’ll never think less of those albums because i think they are for the most part perfect but also I can’t celebrate him like once did
Yeah, I wanted to post about this on social media. But the less attention given to him, the better. This is still one of my favorite albums of all time and hit me personally at the right moment. But he’s just so gone as a person and artist that that doesn’t matter.
I used to cherish MDTF but I can’t listen to Ye anymore after all his bullshit. I sold my vinyl and any merch I had. The man is a joke and I now despise him. I used to look up to him too.. Anyways, happy Sunday!
It's an incredible album. I completely understand why anyone would want to write him off now and would never argue against that but his music is super important to me, and this album is a BIG part of that. Good case for best rap album of the 2010s and should be considered for all time lists.
Kanye literally filmed himself peeing on a Grammy and still got a nom but The Weeknd got zero because of some bullshit
I think MBDTF is a very good album, arguably his best (I would argue against that however, I think LR is his best), but I also think that in hindsight is the beginning of the end. It's when Old Kanye died. EDIT: Or maybe 808s & Heartbreak was actually the beginning of the end. Anyway, my thought basically still stands.
