Yeah. $45 for 4 LPs isn’t terrible. But anything related to him is pretty shaky on vinyl. Plus I’ve actually never sat through the 2 hours all at once.

 

Some single LP’s cost nearly $40 now a days after all the shipping and taxes

 

Yeah, I'm not defending him or the record or whatever lol but if someone loves the record that much, $65 is not an insane price for a 4-LP set or whatever.

 

Every Kanye pressing has been pretty much shit across the board, minus I think 808s. I bought MBDTF just for the packaging, knowing it would sound awful.

 

The best sounding Kanye records I own are my bootlegs lmao. My College Dropout pressing us unplayable.

 

Does your's skip? Because mine definitely does. I thought something was wrong with my record player when I played it.

 

Yep. I couldn't tell if it was actually warped or just so flimsy that the record was literally skipping. Even adding a slipmat and changing the weight on my needle didn't help.

 

MBDTF is so fucking bad. I don’t play it anymore. Not worth it. Sucks because there’s so much going on with it.

 

yeah lol even if it wasn't for Kanye being... like this, his official vinyl pressings have always sucked absolute shit, with the exception of 808s I think. can't exactly remember

 

I have a few of his records and they all sound like shit and skip.

also fuck ye.

 

808’s is the only one of the official pressings that sounds good

 

I don't remember Late Registration sounding as bad as the others but yeah, the rest barring 808s are somehow completely flat sounding and also covered in white noise lol

 

Pressed from digital files with no care. I think 808s actually got pressed for the medium.

 

Remember when people were like "this isn't the final version of Donda 2" and that was three months ago

 

It probably wasn’t but him going off the grid and not finishing it also makes sense. Lol at those who got the stem player for just that

 

It's crazy because "Burnin' Down the House" is completely different on Future's album than the version that was on Donda 2. Probably for the best the dude got off the grid, hopefully he stays that way for a minute

 

he should take a cue from Kendrick and “protect his soul in the valley of silence”

There's no longer a Talking Heads sample, so they may not bear any resemblance to each other tbh. I haven't listened to either more than once so I couldn't tell you
