I think you guys are reading way too much into these clickbait headlines. This new show has been in production since like February of last year. The article says Kanye appears in the first episode. Who knows when those scenes were filmed, it could've been long before the Pete drama.

 

I dunno it just rubs me the wrong way that we're witnessing a woman being seriously harassed by her ex, and you guys assuming it must all be for publicity just because some no name website says Kanye appears in an episode of a show that hasnt even aired yet and you have no context of his appearance.
That's like accusing a victim of sexual abuse as lying because they agreed to a TV interview.

 

C'mon. Nearly everyone itt has readily said what Kanye is doing is harassment and I don't think any reasonable poster in here is looking to downplay that. Simply taking additional context into account is not the same as accusing Kim of "lying." Like, we've all seen his posts, we all know he's clearly in the wrong. That doesn't mean there aren't more nefarious incentives at play behind the scenes.

 

A more accurate comparison would be a victim doing a TV interview alongside their abuser with both parties being paid for their appearance and having something to promote, which again, would NOT mean the victim is lying, but would certainly be strange. I don't think there's anything wrong with having an off feeling about that.

Kanye is 1000% a piece of shit and in the wrong in this situation, but I also think the Pete Davidson “leak” is a problematic publicity tactic

 

I don’t think anyone here is guilty of thinking this, but there is a general vibe out there that the kardashian show announcement is proof of the entire thing being fabricated, which is a bummer

but I think people here are able to maintain both truths that it’s fucked up what Kanye is doing, and also fucked up that it can ultimately be monetized
