I was tryna say I think plenty of shit he's done is abhorrent but publicly calling out the mother of his child for platforming his young children after failed attempts to discuss in private is not one of them. I don't really feel that way about everything he's brought into the public eye recently but this scenario I do.

I’m failing to understand what is wrong about his 8 year old daughter being on TikTok?

1) She’s not making her own TikTok’s, she’s featured in one made by her mother and one that Kim had total control/supervision over
2) She was probably asked prior if she wanted to be in one or expressed interest in doing one
3) There are certainly things you can criticize Kim about, sure, but I really don’t see how this is one of them. It’s just a fun parenting activity. I don’t think it requires the outrage it received from Kanye.

 

Everything Andrew said, plus he shouldn't be airing these grievances publicly on instagram, he needs to have discussions with mother of his children.

 

To add: I think there’s definitely qualms to be had about parents forcing their kids to do social media or posting them a bunch without their consent (e.g. YouTubers), but we are in a technology age now where kids younger and younger are exposed to social media and apps and have interests in them. That doesn’t mean in the latter case the parent must instantly be criticized. If the kid is aware and is the one showing the interest, what is the issue?

 

Do they not have phones? Email? Anything other than social media??

 

Yeah the social media back and forth is infinitely more harmful than her being on tik tok

Except that by "calling her out," he's using his platform to try and exert control over the situation, rather than doing what's best for the family and dealing with it internally.

I understand Kanye the celebrity getting mad initially. Kanye the dad needs to be more understanding.

Kanye the celebrity also needs to realize he will continue to have issues with the celebrity mother who is known for exploiting every aspect of her life.

EDIT: We the public will never know what is actually going on. Narratives from both sides is all we will know.

 

I find it impossible to believe that there wasn't an effort to have multiple conversations in private about their daughter before this went public. Even TikTok itself has guidelines saying users need to be 13+. Quick google search tells me she is 8. I also absolutely believe Kim and her camp are doing all sorts of weird shit like the drug testing Ye mentioned.

Also, sort of an aside but anyone who legitimately believed that AIDS thing clearly cannot think for themself.

 

This doesn't matter, North doesn't have an account. Kim owns/runs the account. It's the same as when parents make accounts for their baby pictures or dog pictures. Babies nor dogs are allowed their own accounts.
