I would rather hear Kanye live in a society than hear more rankings

 

I haven’t posted a kanye ranking in like forever dude I just had to do it sorry :\\

 

Haven’t listened to anything but the first two regularly for years now. Out of those two, I rank LR higher. I like Graduation and MBDTF too, but I don’t really listen to them anymore. I only like a couple of songs on each of the other albums, if that.

 

Do any of you actually listen to Yeezus for pleasure though? I only recently came to "respect" the art/work put into it after that Dissect podcast opened my eyes, but I still don't find any of the tracks alluring enough to put on for a casual listen.

Yeezus is one of my all time favorites. Every track is insane.

 

I find Yeezus to be v listenable, idk. I am also a huge NIN fan and have been since high school and there’s a lot of stuff about the sonic direction of Yeezus that brings them to mind.

 

Yeezus is my fav record of his. The production work Daft Punk did on “On Sight” and “I Am A God” is amazing.

The record just felt like such a fuck you to what was currently going on in hip hop at the time.

Aggressive and abrasive Kanye is my favorite type.

 

What exactly does that mean? I'm legit curious. I just looked up what some of the big releases of that year were to refresh my memory and I can't really see what you're seeing.

 

"Guilt Trip" is extremely underrated
