It definitely deserves to be overshadowed by KSG, Daytona, KTSE -- all of the Wyoming albums besides Nasir -- from a quality standpoint.

KSG was great. Like you could feel the time Kanye put into that, Daytona and KTSE (which would have been nice to have the same promo as the others). Nasir and Ye felt so rushed and bad.

I was a little drunk, I immediately watched and enjoyed the film Blood Hook so I wasn’t in the right state of mind

 

Kids See Ghosts is one of my favorite projects from both Kanye and Cudi. I think it’s the one bright spot for Ye since 2016

 

I actually like "Lord I Need You" and "Hurricane"

The Griselda and The LOX features were good but nothing extraordinary.

Pretty much everything else here is mediocre to very bad.

 

KSG was like my favorite album of 2018

I've probably listened to it like 100 times

 

A few tracks on Ye kinda had the right vibe (though they were sloppy), but again Kanye just didn't come through as a rapper at all, so why bother.

Daytona was good and the Teyana Taylor album is some of Kanye's best work. I haven't heard Nasir. KSG is really not for me.

and in 97. and in 00. and in 05. they dropped a dud in 02 to give others a chance. 08 was too stacked but that album would have been AOTY in any other year it came out

 

To be fair, KSG is like 20 minutes long. That's like listening to "D'You Know What I Mean?" twice.

Noel's remix of D'You Know What I Mean in 2016 was so damn good. Wish he put the time in redoing the whole album.

Didn't see this before, but it looks like Genius was updated to include an Ariana feature on the first track

 

It looks like Mike Dean is out. He just tweeted “Fuck it.” And then shortly after “Good to be at the house.” Then shortly after that “Instagram purge.” And he deleted all his Donda related posts. He responded to someone’s tweet about being held up at the stadium/the situation there being toxic

 

Yikes, gotta wonder how bad it is for him to finally drop Kanye after like 15 years
