He’s so upset that his Grammy stunt didn’t garner much buzz that he’s literally doing anything he can to be trending again.

I think everyone is starting to realize that the best way to hurt him is to ignore him rather than engage. Like you would with a toddler.

Would have never have believed it would end like this. It’s been over for a long fucking time. But god damn, just insane that he was the king of pop music and rap. Critical and commercial success. Visual artist. Shoe mogul and fashion icon. All of it. And this is what we’re doing now. Mind blowing. Most self destructive nose dive ever.

 

I have a job where I talk to high schooler’s sometimes and I tried to explain to one the other day the degree to which Kanye was at the highest point of culture and they are just like “yeah but he’s crazy right?” It’s insane. Like the graduation-Pablo decade was so different and we may never see anything like it. It’s so painful to watch for every reason imaginable. As such a super fan at one time, it really makes me incredibly sad.

I actually think ye, KSG and DONDA are all records worthy of people’s time. They were just coming out during the free fall, probably will be regarded pretty well in hindsight, whenever this for real ends. I bring it up because I had the urge to listen to “Ghost Town” and if that’s the last truly great Kanye song we ever got it was a damn good one. So stupid and dumb and beautiful. Such a fucking waste this all is. Nazi loving, propping up abusers, AI, tech billionaire kowtowing, racism, misogyny, like wtf.

 

I don't really care to get into music quality discussions, but Donda is extremely bad music, absolutely piss poor and embarrassing

 

There’s definitely really solid songs on there but it’s just overly bloated where as a full project it’s pretty mid

 

KSG is mostly great, the only good thing from Ye is Ghost Town, and Donda is just a trainwreck IMO. Life of the Party would be a good song if you completely remove Kanye's vocal contributions.

 

The strongest arguments for Donda songs are "if it wasn't for Kanye, it would be good" and that is not a good argument

 

Truly didn’t mean to start a music discussion. Really just contextualizing my relationship with the downfall and the end of his greatness in regards to the music. He’s a Nazi.

 

I think Donda could be better than it gets credit for (better than ye) if trimmed and resequenced (I made my own version) but none of that matters anymore. It should have been over then and it's definitely over now.

I do fuck with KSG and donda. Was def a casual observer during the donda era but I think if you took the ten best songs out do that record, it would be fire.
