I don’t comment often on celeb’s IGs. But I said it was shameful Leon Bridges is collaborating with Kanye on his page. He immediately blocked me.

Complete side thing, I saw that Kanye showed up at the Travis Scott tour tonight and I looked at the set list, apparently Travis ends his shows by playing the same song 7 to 11 times in a row?!?

 

It’s become a meme at this point, akin to when they played In Paris countless times in a row at the WTT tour

It's honestly scary how much Travis wants to BE Kanye, Utopia had straight song copies on it

 

100%. The only song I likes was “Modern Jam” and that’s pretty much a straight rip off of “Yeezus.” I don’t really understand the appeal besides Kanye worship.

 

I only listened to some of the album, but I remember Circus Maximus is the same exact song as Black Skinhead

 

Good album imo but that song in particular is an unused demo from Yeezus. Which is one he helped produced so assuming he kept it for himself.

 

Yeah I was gonna say, it makes sense why a lot of sounded like Kanye, because it came from Kanye sessions lol

I shouldn’t be but I am Shocked this man sold out an arena for a listening party.

 

He just released a new single/music video. I'm curious to hear how bad it is, but also don't want to contribute to his streaming numbers at all.

 

Oh god, he also just announced a listening party on Long Island for Friday. I can't believe venues and promoters are willing to work with him still.

I'm also laughing because UBS Arena is the absolute shittiest sounding venue I've ever been to. Not exactly the place you want to have a listening party in.

 

It seems to feature North on the track, I feel so bad for his kids

 

I let the Instagram video play on my feed, it was the same one floating around Twitter at the end of December, but with North's freestyle tacked onto the beginning. Good for her I guess, not really sure how to feel about all of that but the James Blake production is great and she seems to be having fun. Bummer it's tied to this shitshow. The Ye/Ty part is awful lol

 

I don't expect anyone on Long Island to have morals but still a bummer

HA and I just saw that the ticket prices START at $140. So I'm guessing that's nosebleeds, with "good" seats probably being like $300. I can't believe people are willing to spend that kind of money to watch a Nazi press play on his iPhone to listen to his (most likely) shitty album in a venue that was not designed at all for loud music.

Production on the new track, unsurprisingly, is pretty good. North sounds like a kid rapping, but it's not really "good" I guess. Ty doesn't sound bad, and honestly Ye sounds better than he has in years, but he only sings like 2 lines.

 

I hate that I have “it’s your bestie, Miss Miss westie” stuck in my head
