This is so much more nuanced w/r/t the overwhelming amount of stigma around being medicated and the side effects that come with it but I don't feel this is a good faith conversation rn and honestly don't have the energy to engage with it. I know you and I don't think you actually believe what you are saying, or at least the way you are presenting it.

I don't have sympathy for him either, but I can empathize with nearly anyone who has BPD and has had to deal with this stigma. I know first-hand.

No one wants to talk about this because he is, obviously, 100% accountable for his actions, but if you don't think his mental illness is a contributing factor in how hard he's been grifted and groomed to be a right-wing lunatic, you need to spend a little time thinking on that
