It also sounds fantastic. I really though Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk would become highly in demand producers after Golden Hour blew up. That didn't really happen, but they really know how to capture singer/songwriters in interesting, flattering ways.
I can’t imagine having strong feelings one way or the other wrt to the single but I’m excited for the rest!
It may not be a radio single but as the first pre-release track from the record I’m not sure the distinction really matters
This song feels like it should be 10 minutes long like Frank Ocean's Pyramids. Absolutely endlessly adore this so far. Can't wait for the album.
wonderful production, boring song, lyrics and delivery unfortunately. hoping for better from the rest.
Yeah not listening to the song especially since y’all are saying it’s reminiscent of a intro. Plus album is almost out.
also I'm so sorry but I am bored to death with "visual albums" / "album movies" or whatever and this one's looks exceptionally off-putting. sorry for hatearade
Then don't watch them? Really not hard to engage with the music but not the visual album/film. I don't tend to get a lot out of those things either, but it seems weird to find them "exceptionally off-putting" when they are so easy to ignore.
I'm not really a fan of visual albums either TBH and the only concern I have with this one is I hope the music isn't reliant on the visuals.
