I like the opener and closer fine, but I also think if they weren't there (or were better and better suited to the rest of the album) then this would be as good as Golden Hour.
I love the closer. Idk if the dislike in here is because it's not in English but I think "There Is A Light" and "Gracias a la Vida" are a great one-two lunch to close out the album
dropping in to say I like this album but also ya'll got me to re-examine PM and wow that middle run is something
Kind of surprised that they went with "camera roll" is the second song. She sounded damn good on "justified" especially, though!
Thought Camera Roll was an odd choice until I realized it had been stuck in my head all morning... Big tune
It looks like she either got unexpectedly emotional during Camera Roll or the vocal phrasing in the song doesn't leave enough room for her to take a couple breaths. Great performance on both songs though.
Lol, there has been at least one less country album nominated for Best County Album at the Grammys in each of the past five years.
This is 100% the best thing that could have happened for this album to get heard by more people. Btw “keep lookin up” is a really cool song.
Damn, the live version is a marked improvement on the recorded. There's more personality in the instrumentation and Kacey live is basically Kacey recorded - nearly flawless
