Fun song. The lyrics definitely got a couple ofc out of me. Instantly more interesting than any of the singles off of the last two albums to me.
Didn't feel the need for a full listen, I was bored of the conceit by the second verse. Also, 300-whatever days? Amateur numbers.
She's made so much forgettable music in between Golden Hour and now that I really just lump it along with the rest of the pile. I'm not sure if I'd call it the "worst", but it is not for me.
yeah i'm with you here. the song felt a bit low energy for my taste. didn't seem like she was particularly finding it urgent to end the dry spell. won't call it uninspired but it hit me as meandering for sure, hard not to want to just turn on man's best friend after listening to this mainstream horny song that i found unexciting also for sure this. not even a full year? it's giving volcel
I get why one would not be a fan of this song and also see how it could appeal to others. I think it's pleasant overall while giving "lead single" vibes, so it slides off me a bit. I'm hoping for something more substantive from the album
I like this track enough to make me excited to hear the album.. something I haven't been able to say since Golden Hour which to be fair is one of my favorite albums ever
I like this better as a lead single than Deeper Well. I've come back to it a lot already, which is good, but I wouldn't necessarily want a whole album of songs like this (which obviously I doubt will be the case). I also totally hate the way these songs get clipped up in teasers for short clips on socials. It cheapens the song for me, as it forces a hook on you, rather than letting you enjoy it naturally.
Thought for a second she was announcing that the SONG was out in 1 month I was like hmm seems dramatic to announce already lol but now I see. Hopefully Friday then for the song?
