I came so close to going this year and now I’m heartbroken, but it’s for the best cus this would have ended me. What a perfect song for her to cover fits right in with Golden Hour’s theme and vibe

 

Took me long enough but I am officially obsessed. My friends and I are constantly putting this album on

 

I've been listening to this so much recently.

 

Never Gonna Stream That

 

I don't listen to the band at all, but I had to at least see what this is about since Kacey herself posted about it. It basically sounds like a youtube cover, it's nothing special or even interesting. It's mostly acoustic, so it's not even LOL-worthy as the kids would say

 

I’m really tired of the trend of scene bands covering Top 40 hits

 

Why does it matter? It’s literally harmless just don’t listen.

Also it made Kacey happy and if Kaceys happy I’m happy.

And Butterflies is not a top 40 hit. I don’t even think it cracked the hot 100.

Because largely, they are typically awful covers by bands trying to use a more popular act’s music to get noticed.
