Her originals are really great
I'll have to give it a listen then
I've got it on vinyl! It's a great Christmas album. One of the essentials for me every year now
"Christmas Makes Me Cry" is among her best songs.
The Christmas album is what got me into her, haha
I've been a huge Kacey fan since her first record and I somehow never listened to the Christmas album is it weird if I put it on February hahaha
I’ve been listening since Same Trailer but I never really gave Pageant Material a chance
Go back to it! A bunch of her best songs are on there.
I've only listened to Golden Hour, I need to go back still
Late to the Party is perfection.
Pageant Material is the only one I don't have on vinyl, need to fix that
Tempted to buy the High Horse remixes 10". Just wonder how much I will play it aside from it being a neat collector's item.
"Miserable" is still her best song, I think.
"Merry Go Round" is still my go-to favorite, but "Miserable," "Somebody to Love," and "Dimestore Cowgirl" would all contend for a Kacey top five.
I just replied to that terrible Ryan Adams post and saw I had notifications from this thread. Sadly, I used to pray (and even would tweet at both artists) for a Kacey & Ryan collaboration. Now I pray that he stays the fuck away from her
For some reason when that album first came out I skipped that song every time. Then I watched her performance on Colbert and it became one of my favorite songs she’s put out almost instantaneously
I got into her when follow your arrow had some mainstream traction. All her albums are so good
Show tonight was incredible. In addition to just flat out killing it, she brought Sophie out for the Tearin Up My Heart cover, and brought out Ruston for To June This Morning.
People were a lot more receptive to her old stuff it seemed, which was surprising
I love all her openers. Silver Lining, High Time, and Slow Burn are all among my favorites. Late to the Party is such a bop too. I kind of love Stupid too that ones underrated imo
Lonely Weekend is my jam.
Out of curiosity, I checked the Kacey Musgraves tickets for the Chicago (which was rescheduled to March from January), and my section is going for $413 on StubHub before fees (I paid like $85 per with fees). The Grammy bump is very very real and I can't wait to see what kind of venues she does next
