All of her albums have this problem for me except Golden Hour but that one doesn't have the heights of Pageant Material for me.
Going tomorrow. Curious to see if the setlist is going to be the same every night or if I'm going to be mad about missing something because I chose to go to the show instead of the first one haha.
she changed it up a bit from the euro leg, cut some of the star crossed songs and added in some more golden hour.
I'm going to enjoy it either way, but I would probably prefer keeping few Star Crossed songs (and adding at least one from Pageant Material). Looks like the two London dates had the same set, so maybe that'll hold true for the multiple dates in the US.
I was at the Boston show last night. She sounded really good. Set was split between Golden Hour and Deeper Well. We got Follow Your Arrow and Justified
Yeah, this was the best I’ve seen her. Her personality came out a bit more too. It was charming. I do wish the setlist would get switched up, but still a real good show
What was the response to FJM? I adore him and I’m worried the cavernous seated arena vibe might not be right for him.
I thought it was good for FJM but still to the point of it being a direct support act that wasn’t for everyone that a lot of talking in my section
I'm stoked for Thursday, but I'm not going to lie it's hard not to feel a bit bummed looking at setlists because it seems like the sets were longer in Europe. I was excited to see the majority of this album live and now it seems like it's more like 8 or 9. Mostly I'm hurt that I may not see Anime Eyes (just to be clear I'm not actually angry or anything that, just being petty)
I feel ya, this tours setlist doesn’t do much for me. I didn’t really enjoy the record a ton and it seems she left a lot of the filler stuff and cut the more interesting tracks (Anime!). I’d love to see more of Star-crossed put in there too, like at least 2 tracks.
The show Saturday was really great, even if there are a few obvious setlist changes that would make it even better. All three bands sounded so, so good.
I think Deeper Well is my favorite album of the year, now that autumn is approaching, this just gets more plays and it still holds up so well. What a perfect, chill and breezing album.
