If anyone ends up going to Arlington you are invited to park on my street and Uber from my neighborhood since parking at AT&T Stadium is expensive as all hell (But absolutely try to go anywhere else instead for exactly that reason)
Yeah they're def my favorite boy group I've found so far. In Your Fantasy, Lemon Drop, and Skin are bops, I gotta dive in a little further, I'll check these that you linked, thanks!
I have been complaining endlessly that I want vinyl versions of their albums (and not a year after the CD like they've done with their solo albums), but eleven versions?? That's not what I meant omg. I'm not a collector, I just buy whatever color I like the most, but this is going to be a struggle. And I don't think I saw anyone suggest Arirang when everyone was throwing out theories of album names. So much for the accusations that they've become too western haha
Such a weird accusation considering how much they've relayed that they don't want to be looked at that way and how they've reacted to their English songs' successes.
This is going to be wild, they're expecting 200k people to show up in person. Let's hope Netflix can handle the number of viewers and we don't have a repeat of the YTC Busan stream. I love them so much for having their last concert before enlistment and their first show back both be free to attend or stream.
Not into the new Blackpink EP. Basically just like Jump and Go. Also Dr. Luke is all over it, which is disappointing. EJAE is on a song too but that one kind of sucks, so.
I'm generally a fan of overall sound design, and while both Jump and Go have totally phoned in, nonexistent choruses, the sound design aspect of both is really interesting to me.
With the album being called Arirang, this isn't what I was expecting for track titles, but I'm intrigued and excited.
I don't know if this even belongs under kpop, but oh well. Obviously I'm biased, but this is insane and I think listening with headphones is a must to catch all of the traditional Korean instruments, background Arirang vocals, the lingering bell ringing in no. 29, etc. My standout tracks keep changing every listen, but rn I'm loving Like Animals and Body to Body. I feel awful for Namjoon getting injured during their Netflix concert rehearsals, he's already always so hard on himself and now he's in a boot for Netflix, Jimmy Fallon, the Spotify concert, and the beginning of their tour which will be livestreamed and shown in theaters. That's brutal.
After the shit that was Blackpink having Dr Luke and Diplo songs, seeing Diplo's name all over the BTS credits is a bummer I wish people would quit using him
