they are like ep’s basically but yeah they all dropped solo projects before they get back together in a few months
now- i still haven't listened to Jisoo's yet but of the other three i like Jennie's the best. i'm not as big a fan of Lisa's hip hop focused tracks like i am w Jennie Rose's i liked the few tracks i heard on her album i guess (haven't listened all the way through yet) although APT is S-tier
3 Dreamcatcher Members To Part Ways With Agency + Continue Group Activities | Soompi Handong is going back to China, Gahyun is going into acting, and Dami is going solo Likely the end of my favorite group as I know it, I understand the sentiments of "they can still be a group" but in this case...it feels very unlikely. I'm so sad. So much new music to check out this morning and I've ignored all of it because I've just been binging Dreamcatcher
Definitely the end of an era. I haven’t really followed them in the last few years but they were one of my favorite groups when I got back into K-Pop in 2018. I do… feel like they didn’t fully fulfill their potential, when it comes to the electronic sounding stuff on one side and the metal (particularly in Japan) one on the other. Can’t say they didn’t had a good run though, especially if you include the Minx days. A decade is more than most.
Wish I could go back in time to listen to songs like Silent Night and In The Frozen for the first time again. Those beat changes rewired my brain.
Aww it reminds me I do remember them coming to France once or twice but I couldn’t make it to them I think. Doesn’t help that K-Pop concerts on here are like thrice the price of regular ones.
Le Sserafim’s song come over being written by jungle which means it’s just a jungle banger is what I like to see
just finished the EP and I for sure think come over and hot are my two favorite songs but it doesn’t really match up to the last release.
I told someone I feel like they are moving towards catering to a new audience which sucks cause the chaotic of their first releases made me love them
I don't really think they're moving in any specific direction, kinda feels like they're just doing it all. I had a similar feeling to that about Easy though, I was afraid Easy was a move in a specific direction until they did the Coachella 1-800-hot-n-fun performance
Yeah it makes sense to make a variety of style. I think XG is doing the same with their releases cause they have different style too
