I’ve said it before but that ILLIT mini ep or whatever it is has me hooked so dang much magnetic is actually insane to me
I'm pretty sure I haven't heard Magnetic more than twice, and yet it has been stuck in my head all morning
Idk how many people here pay attention to choreography but Chung Ha ATE this and is competing with Taemin for my #1 at this point She's always been incredible at dancing but this somehow feels like her best dance yet and the song is a jam too
very much on the illit boat, magnetic and midnight fiction are marvelous. also heard good things about the boynextdoor single, should give that a go
I got to see le sserafim at Coachella and they were great. The singing was top notch and they have some fun choreo.
It's a MESS right now HYBE and Min Heejin are at war Reddit - Dive into anything Reddit - Dive into anything https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/1ca81me/megathread_hybe_co_audits_sublabel_adors/
I added a tweet with more context for others but yeah even as a casual I’m just like what the heck is going on
Min Heejin is saying that the statement released was approved by NewJeans which has me very curious I hope this doesn't end like Fifty Fifty
we really just can't have nice things, jesus christ... (also, bold to claim that another group is copying NewJeans' concept/aesthetic when they're just copying things Black folk were doing 20 years ago in the first place)
that's great to hear, i've been seeing a bunch of folks criticizing their singing at that performance saying that it wasn't good/up to par
I think this was my first time seeing a K-pop group live but I did notice they prioritized vocals over dancing so some parts they were skipping over but I didn’t mind because you could just see the backup choreos doing the dances for them. They all sounded good though just one member felt like they spoke very soft but I could still hear them for the most part.
I loved Le Sserafim both performances. I'd rather they have a few rough moments (especially since it was their first time doing something like that), than have it lip-synced. The fact that they were getting bombarded with threats on IG because of it is absolutely insane??? The Rose sounded amazing. I didn't know much about Ateez, but I watched them too and it wasn't for me.
Le Sserafim's dancing is also insanely hard, I know BTS has commented on Le Sserafim having parts on par with if not harder than theirs. Singing during that at all is incredible
I feel like I remember hearing that BTS trains by singing their set while running on a treadmill (or maybe just JK?), so I wonder if Le Sserafim does this.
there was some girl group that did that too, specifically singing while running laps around their practice room (i don't remember whom) but yeah, LS does have some actually really good/intense choreo (i'm never a fan of when ppl give girl groups choreo that's literally just all plain arm movements)
"We are pleased to announce the release of “Right Place, Wrong Person,” BTS member RM’s second solo album. “Right Place, Wrong Person” is an 11-track album that captures some of the universal emotions that we all experience at some point in life, such as the feeling of being an outsider who doesn’t fit in. The album falls within the alternative genre, boasting a rich sound coupled with frank, honest lyrics. Your anticipation and support for RM and his second solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” would be much appreciated."
The Ador / Hybe drama is unhinged. Every morning this week I've opened twitter to chaos and the most insane quotes, I feel like I'm watching a kdrama because what even was that press conference?
Apparently there are no genres the members cannot do. And he clearly doesn't care about trends / charts if his single is a 6.5 min indie track.
