I can already tell this EP is going to be my fall / winter comfort album. I also realized last night while listening to the song that I have a raincloud tattoo directly above his tattoo, which I got a year apart and are unrelated, but so perfect now.

(G)I-dle were incredible, they made BIG strides since last year. We've got Aespa this Friday and going out of town for Dreamcatcher part 2 next month, can't wait

 

I have to say, I saw Blackpink in Vegas a couple days ago and seeing them in San Francisco tomorrow and it was one of the best live shows I have ever seen. Super insane stage presence, don't think i've had that much fun at a show in a long time

 

^^ saw blackpink perform again tonight in San Francisco and holy fuck why can’t I see them perform every night, genuinely incredible

 

I went to both Dallas shows last year and they were so fun and great, I was so sad the encore shows didn't come back here

 

Aespa last Friday was one of the more interesting shows I've gone to. You could tell they're a young group, their confidence grew the longer the set went which was cool to see, overall it was a GREAT time and they had really cool stage production decisions for their show. But you could definitely tell they weren't as polished as other groups

Not sure this is the right thread since they're a band and not a kpop group, but there's not a better one? Anyways, The Rose has a new album coming out and they released three songs from it so far. Their show in October is probably the show I'm most excited for for the rest of the year.

I'm obsessed. Went to Target before work this morning and they only had the blue version (was hoping for the green), but I'm impatient and didn't want to hunt, so I got it. I wish they would catch up with the vinyl releases, I didn't intend to have a CD and vinyl for each.

 

Got to see 3Racha and Jungkook live at the Global Citizen concert this weekend! Though the circumstance was a bummer (minor car accident keeping most of SKz in Korea), seeing 3Racha live was amazing, they really brought it! Han and Changbin are honestly up there as some of the best kpop rappers for me, and I loved seeing them own it in person, and Bang Chan's stage presence is incredible too.

Seeing Jungkook in Central Park for the second time in three months was wild for this New Yorker! I love seeing him do his thing, and Latto joined him for "Seven" too! I love that the BTS members continue to incorporate BTS songs into their solo performances, with their original backing tracks bringing the voices of the members along. Jungkook did a mini set of the English trilogy and it was so fun to dance in the rain and watch him do that choreo!

ALSO, he announced his new single coming out this Friday, "3D" feat. Jack Harlow (?!)! Exciting times for Jungkook!

 

I watched the livestream for Jungkook's performance, he looks so happy being on stage again. I'm kind of over the features though, I really want to hear just him, and doing other genres like he said he wanted to do. The new look + the drummer who thought he was playing for a hardcore band has me dying for rock Jungkook.

 

Jungkook's first solo album is coming in a month!

 

Oh I'm so ready. Of course he would name it Golden.
