I need to catch up to this year's releases but this is the best music video/song combo I've seen in a while. Obsessed with the vibe. I rarely pay attention to choreography, weirdly, but I also found this one striking.

truly love that fifty fifty’s Cupid is popping off but man I wish the English version of it had the rap like the original. The little rap just makes it so much better.

Last year's Festa dinner is when they dropped that they were basically going on "hiatus". It was a pretty emotional conversation, there were some tears and whatnot, but it was also at the beginning of Chapter 2, which has been essentially nonstop releases from the members individually. At the time, no one really knew what it meant and some were blindsided by it, but it ultimately didn't play out exactly as they thought at the time they filmed it (Jin enlisted a few months later than he expected to, and they were able to do their concert in Busan, so there was a more OT7 sendoff than it initially appeared there would be) and the past year has been anything but boring or lacking in music, content, live performance. It sounds like this year's Festa content was prepared before Jin and Hobi enlisted, so I am optimistic this year's Festa dinner (if they had one) will be a little more gentle, especially given the immediate reaction to last year's!

 

Yeah, a lot of good things have happened since and it was something that needed to happen to give them an opportunity to grow, but the way everything happened was chaos (not their fault) and a bit traumatic. And I keep seeing rumors flying around that freak me out, so that's not helping.

Most people seem to think 6/10 on the poster represents Festa Dinner, so hopefully they filmed one end of last year.
