I gasped when I watched the initial teaser as the sample was so unexpected and risky. The full song really delivers though!
its very good. i don't think it's quite up to the same level as their past two singles but that's more of a sign of how incredibly good their music has been so far
i didnt love the new snsd single and was checking out their album and was pretty dissapointed with the first couple of tracks, but wow the backhalf is amazing. everything from "closer" on is great. took me a bit to get into the ive song, i have a hard time with pop songs with really obvious samples but im really digging it now.
SNSD record absolutely slaps. has no business going so hard. and i frequently have the melody of After Like stuck in my head, it's still so good. Wondering when their label is gonna give them a full EP. hopefully their next release is more than 2 songs, i think they're ready lol and i'm very much looking forward to more new Stray Kids!!
9 years after being introduced to it, I finally saw my first ever K-Pop concert on Sunday. It was none other than LOONA, one of my all time favorites. I had a blast and despite the circumstances (3 members down + 1 injured), they still put one hell of a performance.
I went to that tour in Dallas and it was amazing! Glad you had a great time, they are incredible performers
Yeah I can't think of a more mismanaged K-Pop group. Just makes me sad that they can't ever catch a break (literally as well).
wow very jealous you all got to see them. was considering going to nyc to see them but the plane ticket + the concert ticket would have been too much to do it without any guilt.
i loved this a lot more than Pink Venom. gonna check out the album on my way to work (rn)- still wish they gave them more than 8 songs YG/Teddy, yall had 4 years you couldn't make it a round 10 track release? quit playin with my girls like this!!
I love the album so much more than I thought I would based off Pink Venom. Shut Down is great and every new track is great. Definitely agree it’s too few new tracks though
This thread seems to be gg-focused but does anyone else like Seventeen? Saw them live a few weeks ago and it was a total blast, really enjoy their discography! I actually have had a pretty wild live kpop year all told! Caught BTS in LA in December, Epik High here in NYC in March, Monsta X at Radio City Music Hall in June, Tomorrow x Together and J-Hope at Lolla in July and then Seventeen!
Their shows seem so fun, I love Seventeen but had to miss the show when they came here. Your year of shows sounds like it’s been awesome!
I would definitely check out some groups if they had stops in Portland, but so far they've all been playing only the biggest markets.
that sounds awesome. i enjoy a decent amount of seventeen's music and really like txt. i havent been to a kpop concert in a while (miami is rarely on anyones tour dates) but i have gotten to see block b, g dragon, and red velvet. had a chance to see nct but missed it and i really regret it.
Red Velvet are my favorites and I wanna see them so damn badly Have Enhypen, Blackpink x2 (ow my wallet), Itzy, and Ateez coming up and went to (G)I-DLE and Loona earlier this year and that’s my resume
Fun! I got into kpop during quar so it's been a blast to be able to see all these groups that I didn't even know of a few years ago, and so many are touring now!
i don't actively listen to Seventeen but the songs that have come on my kpop mix on spotify i've all really liked! also- listened to Born Pink on my way in this morning. love it. solid 9/10 for me. Yeah Yeah Yeah and Shut Down are my favorites rn surprised but glad at there being no features
Despite following a lot of boygroups, I'm not sure I ever listened to a full Seventeen album. They're one of my blind spots, so I should change that.
They are fun bunch! Their song "Home;Run" is what really made me take notice! "Hot" is a more recent title track and it shows a bit of a different side of them! With 13 members, they manage do a great job of showcasing everyone, sometimes breaking into their three units (vocal, hip hop and performance) for a little more focus on each member.
BTS' RM recently was credited with his 200th songwriting credit in the Korean Music Copyright Association, which is a pretty cool milestone, considering he just celebrated his 28th birthday! This is the song that got him there, I like it a lot and got me listening to his first mixtape again too! Hoping his next solo record heads in this direction a bit.
