JT’s on from 9-11. Almost on the dot.

saw the tour last night. guy is still prob one of the top entertainers in the business.

only gripe would be that there were a ton of MOTW songs...and that's coming from a fan of the album. 9 of the 26 songs were MOTW tracks and their is a lull about halfway through the set thats about 25-30 minutes of really slow acoustic stuff and covers. he has too many good songs in his back catalog to do that.

other than that it was still incredible for the most part. the stage is incredible and his band is amazing.

This hasn’t held up that well for me. JT is one of my favorite pop artists, and I still think there’s some really great tracks on here... but I think I also was kind of in denial about how many weaker tracks this has. He tried to do too many things outside of his comfort zone, and some of them fall pretty flat. I admire the ambition, but I do think this is probably his weakest album now.

Totally agree - very similar for me minus the fact that a few days after it came out my wife and I listened to it on the way home and half way through she turned to me and said "this is mostly not great, can I turn it off?" My denial ended then and I heard it for what it was. There's only a handful of tracks I enjoy and I've hardly listened to it as a whole.

Yeah I haven’t had a desire to return to it in full in a while. Decided to throw it on earlier just to see how much has held up and... not that much has.

I absolutely love the song Montana. I don't really return to a whole lot aside from that, but I will stop on the radio when Say Something comes on. My version of this is 10 tracks and pretty solid all the way through though.

Waves is still one of the worst songs I've ever heard. I haven't returned to this much except for Supplies, Filthy, and Say Something. Still a few others I think are good, but it's just mostly forgettable.

Man of the Woods tour made me appreciate this more.

I think this album really suffers from too much fluff. I think I'd enjoy it much more if the tracklist was just:

    1. Filthy
    2. Midnight Summers Jam
    3. Sauce
    4. Man of the Woods
    5. Higher Higher
    6. Morning Light
    7. Say Something
    8. Montana
    9. Breeze Off The Pond
    10. Young Man

I still listen to Montana and Sauce occasionally.

I liked the singles but I don't think I made it through the whole album.

The back half, or quarter, is actually the best. If you ever want to give it another chance, start at "Montana" and listen through the end

Produced by Nineteen85. He's panicking that Man of the Woods didn't do that well I think... song's okay.

I agree honestly. I think with Nineteen85 on production, it could've been MUCH better.

I barely made it through this song. Only song I really return to from the album is Filthy. Idk, I guess I’m just not into him anymore.

    Loved 20/20 pt 1 though.

Yeah, I only return to a few tracks from MOTW often still... but I’d put solidly half the album over this song.

It’s not you. The quality of his music really dropped off.
