I know I might be the only person to realize this, or care, but Andrew Reiner from Game Informer? I want to say that is so random but I know they are from the same city so I know it isn't that random.
Just signed up to say this: The band name, song title, lyrics, and imagery all seem to be inspired by the videogame - Bioshock. Including the chorus, which is the twist of the game. Yeah - official nerd, but it's pretty fucking cool. Oh, and that also explains a bit of the Game Informer connection.
scatter brain, but it was good to hear from him. Already miss MCS their shows were so much fun, and I'm a big fan of the newest album.
I just pulled Panic Stations off the shelf the other day to listen to it and was thinking we were due some kind of update from him. I am very pleased he is back in the music scene already! On a side note, I STILL don't understand the lukewarm/meh reaction people had to Panic Stations. I love it more with each listen...
Josh Cain lead guitarist of Motion City is working on Justin's his solo album too, definitely exciting hopefully we get a song soon. Rapture Twins is cool until then
Panic Stations was awesome, just didn't have the same charm running through the whole thing. Those first 3 songs are among their best, but it is a little "standard" for them.
