i havent listened to any of the new songs aside from the first one a few times, im really excited. i think @Jason Tate described it as sounding similar to a good MCS album so thats certainly enticing.

Has he said anything about who else played on the record, if anyone, or if he has a touring band or anything? just curious

 

Gonna hold off on this one until Friday, but god damn I can't wait!

 

Looks like this is going to be his band. I kind of think the guy hiding his face could be Josh? It'd be interesting if he still toured with Justin, but I suppose it frees him up to not have to do it every time but still go out if he wants to.

 

The impressions I saw Jason post were a bit cooler than that, but I’m still excited. I’m not expecting any surprises; I just want Justin’s voice singing over catchy tunes again.

 

Listening to this now. Undone is really great.

 

Unfortunately this is just okay. I love the songs that were released beforehand, though.

 

I think it's solid on first listen. Undone, Moonbeam and In the Drink are the highlights. I'm glad he's still making music.

 

I swear there were a couple of clips he posted on Instagram that I didn't catch on here though and I really liked both of those.

 

I know there's an exclusive track for people who bought the VIP tour package.

 

Definitely reminds me most of Panic Stations, which I loved.

 

well shit, this album is awesome. I know the rest of the guys aren't involved so it can't be.... buuuuuut it sounds like a MCS album 100%

There really is just no distinction from MCS, and I am so okay with that. Ha

 

It reminds me of Butch Walker's first solo album, which was basically just another Marvelous 3 album and at the time I was totally fine with that. But then he went on, changed his sound, brought in different elements, and created some masterpieces.

 

Actually, I'd love to hear Justin work with Butch and see what can come of that.
