Pretty immediately I love this song more than anything on the last two motion city albums. This is awesome
Yep, wow, I really hope the rest of the album stands up to this song...Happy it seems he took his time with this.
Damn that's a short song. Dig it though, can't wait for more. Filling the MCS sized void in my life for sure
it is way too short but it's also true that it's better than the majority of panic stations it also makes me think panic stations was mostly justin's doing
Track times for 3 other songs are up on Apple Music and all are less than 3 minutes: "Undone" - 2:48 "I Don't Know Why She Ran Away" - 2:09 "Shoulder the Weight" - 2:26
I mean, sure the last two weren't their strongest albums, but that had some great songs especially "I Can Feel You" and "Days Will Run Away" off PS.
No offense to anyone but can we not start ranking this against MCS let's just let it exist in it's own space, for a while at least.
Song is obviously short, but I don't think that's a detriment to it. It doesn't feel incomplete at all.
You're all good. I know, I have spent long hours defending PS. I just don't want this thread to turn into the same conversation that's been repeating itself in the MCS thread, because I just want to be excited for Justin's album. Which I am. So so excited. I think @popdisaster00 said we can expect tour dates soon too? Even more exciting!
Super stoked for this album, you can never have too much Justin in your life. Now just waiting on that new Farewell Continental album haha
I was unprepared for how this would make me feel. Very, very few bands have meant to me what MCS did, and while I knew that Justin was working on solo stuff, there was a part of me that thought it'd never actually happen. To actually hear a (really great) song, and watch a (super dumb but quirky and weird in the best possible way) video? It just did something. It got me in the emotions I don't always want to admit I have. Seriously happy this exists. It's what my world needs.
