    It isn't terrible like The Many Saints of Newark. It is just a weird experiment, planting a character into a different type of story and then taking the hard left turn at the end. I didn't hate it and I was genuinely anticipating the last episode.

    it's not Many Saints bad but it's not good. more of a Fargo s4 situation really

    i think it's fair to question whether the last scene is reality.
     
  5. I enjoyed the season. I liked revisiting Raylan's character and seeing how he's changed. Clement was a great villain.

    Yeah I'd definitely say it's worth watching if you're a Justified fan. You won't be missing anything by skipping it, but I still enjoyed spending these 8 episodes with Raylan.

    the biggest issue with this isn’t not having enough of the OG characters or not feeling close enough to the original raylan, it’s that Yost knew in the OG series what material to take from Leonard and what to craft themselves whereas this is almost too faithful to the source material novel despite the name change of the main character
