Snyder has a vision, but man, does he seem like an edgy kid that is fresh out of middle school.

Snyder's vision is like the vision you'd have through a car windshield that's sat under some pigeons for a few hours

    beautiful and chequered, the end

See......If synder just remade the green lantern/yellow room issue of all star Batman then it would be an amazing movie.

  5. PG-13 movies are allowed to have one f-bomb right? Snyder's quote reminded me of that weird, arbitrary rule lol.

    Also reminded me of this

Apparently Zack Snyder has talked to Jim Lee about trying to get a comic book sequel/spin-off made for his Justice League.

Which, is funny because, if Jim Lee draws it, then it’s never getting finished, lol. But, I’d be into that idea. Let those Snyder ideas happen there (with the “unlimited special effects budget” of that medium), instead of letting him get in the way of better movie ideas. And, try to get some of those diehard Snyder fans into comic shops.

Not super interested in seeing some of those character designs in comic form... but, can’t look much worse than the New 52!

Still need to try and sell that Jim Lee sketch I got a few years back. I'm sure someone will spend stupid money even with my name on it.

This is not how you word a statement.

"The [Justice League] investigation was conducted by an outside law firm and led by a former federal judge," a WarnerMedia rep told The Wrap. "More than 80 people were interviewed. We have full confidence in its thoroughness and integrity, and remedial action has been taken. The investigation has concluded, and it is time to move on."

Ray pretty much committed career suicide even though Joss deserved it

I would prefer the Snyder cut to be this insane 4 hour feature film anyway.

I doubt I’ll watch the whole thing because I’ve hated all his DC films thus far but good for the people that asked for this shit i guess?

  16. It should be a 4-part mini series with one episode dropping every year

Isn't that what we said when it was released the first time? Lol

The Snyder Cut, like QAnon, is a baseless conspiracy theory that got stuck in the minds of some of the loudest and worst people in the world and we might only be seeing the beginning of how bad it might get

(look it's not a perfect 1:1 parallel and I'm not saying any Snyder Cut devotees are going to physically hurt anyone, but they share a lot of weird toxicity and refusal to move on)

    the subject deserves it.

Look I have nothing against Snyder pursuing the opportunity given the circumstances he left the movie under, but there was a very fierce, very aggressive group of people who fixated on the existence of a “Snyder Cut” and I feel weird about them being indulged

Super excited to finally watch this. As long as it is all being released at the same time, I really don't care whether they call it one long 4-hour movie or a mini-series of 4 1-hour parts. I prob won't be able to watch it all at once just for logistical / schedule reasons anyway.

There is a disturbing trend developing where the fanatics have started to act as if they are entitled to a movie or show to be a certain way, and if it fails to meet that expectation they expect it to be redone. It used to just be angry fan petitions or message board posts, but the studios are increasingly willing to give these people their dopamine shots.

I understand what you are saying about this trend, and I agree to some extent - but I do think Justice League is a slightly different beast than some other films or TV shows in that the version that was dumped into theaters doesn't even qualify as a coherent movie.

You mean you're not exhausted by all of the discourse?

The movies out, it's great! Wait, the critics didn't like it. Wait, the critics were wrong. Wait, Zack should've finished it. Wait, here's three years of teasing posts on an obscure social media site. Wait, here's a billboard bought near comic con. Wait, here's thousands of obsessive tweets, many of which are sent at actors, social media people, and other sources who really don't need to be bothered. Wait, they're going to let him finish it. Wait, it's a mini series. Wait, it's in 4x3. Wait, it's maybe gonna be in IMAX. Wait, maybe it's going to be in Black and White. Wait, it's a movie again.

I'm already finding my stomach churning over the "LET ZACK MAKE JUSTICE LEAGUE PART TWO" discourse which will undoubtedly begin minutes after it's uploaded on HBO Max. If not minutes after the reviews hit for this version.

Look, a lot of these issues are not Zack Snyder's DC Movies exclusive (see also the post-The Last Jedi/The Rise of Skywalker discourse, the brewing WandaVision discourse, etc.) but as someone who follows movie news as a big movie fan, it feels like that with this project in particular, it's been years of toxic, fan-baiting back and forth which is just incredibly exhausting.

And what's worse? You already know that the end result will never live up to the hype and the next argument is forming.
