I know this movie is gonna blow, but that trailer was pretty cool Zack Snyder is in love with himself, though
My eyes rolled so hard when the trailer soundtrack started that my eyes are stuck in the back of my head watching my dipshit brain rot i genuinely don't know why they are pumping so much money into this, it can't be saved
Why does every tweet I see about this film have people shitting all over Ragnarok in the replies and bragging about how Snyder films are made for adults? Lmao.
Oh, it is confirmed to be a miniseries instead of a super long film? Thank goodness. I'll happily watch this over the course of four days.
He makes boring, bad movies and it’s bizarre to see people get so hyped over him rearranging the deck chairs on this Titanic of a film.
Because DC is dark and for “grown ups“ that only like gritty, “edgy” cinema that doesn’t have any jokes or any fun, according to them.
I’m not a fan of most of his films but I‘m not going to go out of my way just to post about how much I hate the guy. Just seems like a waste of energy
People are allowed to express their frustration that a talentless dudebro hack like Snyder gets to continue making big budget films in Hollywood while far more talented artists, including women and POC, will never get even a fraction of the opportunities he’s had and ruined. Also I promise typing out a post on this website takes almost no energy at all, so no worries there.
that tweet's practically the exact opposite of how james wan responded to both fans and haters of aquaman
I never said people shouldn’t be allowed to talk bad about him. If that’s what people want to put their time into then go for it.
Remember when the Snyder Cut was announced, & the general mood of the response was, "hey, he's a bad storyteller, but that Justice League situation was shitty; good for him"? I miss that. That tweet of his is bad. But, like, dude had his creative vision (shitty as it may have been) taken from him & released with his name on it, after the tragic death of his daughter became the tipping point in his fight with the studio. And, someone on these forums who's worked on one of his sets before said he's a wonder guy to work for. And, wasn't it just announced a day or two ago that there's an investigation into how Whedon & Johns handled things after Snyder left? His die hard fans suck. He himself is pretty bad in certain ways. But, like, sorry, I'm still happy for him.
hey i was part of that, thanks man! everything else is also more or less how i feel. even if this also sucks, even if it only exists in no insignificant part due to one of all time worst hashtags, it's honestly really cool that zack has his baby again after a tragedy ripped it away from him. to me, some things are bigger than whether or not a film/filmmaker is "good"
Am I glad we're getting the Justice League movie that was initially planned instead of the hack job that ended up getting released? Yes. Do I expect it to be good? Absolutely not
