Don't agree with everything here, but there are some interesting ideas here of how BvS, and subsequently JL, could've been different.

 

john wick 2 came out this year so idk why we are discussing these pretenders

 

There’s supposed to be solo movies for Aquaman and Flash right? This left me with no desire to see any solo movie aside from Wonder Woman. Aquaman is the least likeable hero I’ve seen in a while.

 

Ragnarok and GOTG2 were better imo. Loved those movies to bits

I mean I've seen people say they "really enjoyed this."

 

I thought his short scene with him in Atlantis with Mora was so interesting. I'm really looking forward to seeing all that explored more.

See I've never read a single DC book so I have no idea who that is. And I don't think they mention her name? So he rescues some dude on a boat then notices parademon blood on him and I have no idea how those things tie together so he heads to Atlantis, loses the box, and then talks to this girl for 10 seconds and shes like "you need to care about Atlantis, your mom was the queen." And then they're onto the next scene. There is no time for anything in this movie. One review I read summed it up best: It's like a 10 year old read the comic book and is retelling it to you as best they can. "And then this happened! And then this happened!! AND THEN THIS HAPPENED!"

 

He and pretty much always disagree. We will both like a band and he always loves songs I do not care for at all.

 

Hahaha, damn it. I loved this movie but I can't say you're wrong. I think you are right, they didn't even say her name. It was just set up for his movie at best and confusing for people not familiar with the comics at worst.

It still looked awesome and am excited

'Justice League' Cinematographer Hopes for a Director's Cut

 

Kinda feel bad for Snyder, especially given what he's gone through this year. Gotta be tough to watch (which apparently he hasn't yet) your movie hacked to pieces and injected with re-shoots that look bad. Even if Whedon's writing helped the movie, his scenes can feel distracting and out of place, visually.

I'm pretty sure this shot got cut? Correct me if I'm wrong. I always thought this shot was awesome.

 

I would pay so much for an extended cut of this. I heard so many things were cut and changed. One thing I'd love to see is I heard the battle in the past with Man, Amazonians, Atlanteans, Green Lanterns and Zeus vs Steppenwolf's first try at taking over was actually a pretty long scene and was the beginning of the movie instead of WW telling it to Batman.

 

It did, as did pretty much every Cyborg scene from the trailers.

Once Zack gets back into doing movies again, I'm excited for him to move away from superhero movies and do something original since he's such a talent. I'd like to see him do a more lower budget film again like Dawn of the Dead.

Front runner for one of the worst movies I've seen.

 

Finally saw this today. Obviously, my expectations weren't high, but it was an okay watch. It was weird because we're sitting there laughing at some of the stuff that was intended to be serious and then stone silent at their over-the-top use of corny one-liners. The action was still pretty solid, but it just felt like way too much CGI that I didn't think was up to par. Otherwise, it's mostly the common topics like the CGI upper lip, Affleck as Batman, etc. I'm not overblowing this in saying it was a terrible watch, but it's just disappointing to see Justice League on the screen for the first time like this.

In the end, I hope more seats at the table is for the right choices:

 

Guardians was a great film, but also a book adaption. Sucker Punch is probably his worst film but has a lot to like.
