Got my tickets for opening day in Imax today. Actually really shocked that tickets were still available 3 days before. Like a lot of tickets.
Advanced ‘Justice League’ tickets are outpacing Wonder Woman’s sales “Justice League” is ruling this week’s Fandango’s ticket sales, with the superhero dream team garnering a super-strong 97 out of 100 Fanticipation movie buzz index points. “Justice” is outselling DC Entertainment’s previous 2017 hit “Wonder Woman” at the same point in the Fandango sales cycle.
The back/good section of my 8pm showing on Thurs is just about sold out. Plenty of seats in the front/bad rows, though.
I'm not sure I understand the Rotten Tomatoes thing. There are other sites that aggregate. Metacritic is a better way to get a real feel for the film.
Maybe they are simply banking off the fact that some people may only know of RT? Since it's everywhere, on demand, google search, etc.
I get it I guess, I hope people will actually read other people's thoughts, as opposed to looking at a tomato now. My screening is tomorrow night at 1230 am lol, good thing I'm working from home on Thursday and have Friday off (to see it again)
Wonder Woman was better in her own movie. Flash was a joke machine who had more misses than hits and Aquaman was just bro town one-liners. The cast was good but they were given nothing to work with. And Steppenwolf was a boilerplate villain with a look like a Peter Jackson-rejected design from “The Hobbit.”
Didn’t like it. Had a few good ideas, but was bogged down by a bunch of nonsense and wild leaps in characterization and logic.
I just want this to get like 60-70 on RT. Not for me, I know it doesn't mean much, but damn so I really love aspects of the world they have created with these films.
Screen Junkies described this as something that people who generally enjoy any decent superhero film will generally enjoy, people who love DC comics will love, and people ambivalent towards superheroes won't be able to get into. They said the cop out "our movies are for the fans" comments from past films actually apply here (certainly way more so than BvS), and not in a bad way. That's good to here. I like that assessment. Tomorrow night for me!
