How did I not know that Leto would be reprising his role as The Joker in this?

And Amber Heard?

 

Heard is playing Mera, the queen of Atlantis.

I've not heard this mentioned anywhere, and IMDb isn't official. I don't think he's going to be in it. He's going to be in the solo Batman movie according to reports.

 

IMDB hasn't been wrong yet when it comes to casting.

 

Ezra is so cute omg.

 

Pretty sure I've seen a few instances of people being assumed to be in certain films and turned out to be untrue. I can't give examples off the top of my head.

Maybe he is in it though, I don't know

I took that as "He's a TV actor and wouldn't be able to hack it in a movie" because judging by the trailer, I don't really get it why he wasn't used.

 

If they ever use Green Arrow here, I hope it is similar to how he was portrayed in New 52 JL run. It was hilarious.

 

Petty or not he has the right idea. As a fan of those shows, I would be so disappointed if these movies were apart of that cheesy as hell universe. So many dumb moments have happened in the "Arrowverse". You really want the new movies to take place in a universe where Oliver Queen defeated Ra's Al Ghul in a terrible fight, Black Canary has died, or a Flash who constantly makes laughable decisions? It works for tv, leave it there.

 

He's certainly right that the tone is way different in the shows, but that's kind of his doing. Whatever, I like the Flash we saw in the trailer.

I hope we get a bigger team in the next movie. I guess GL will be there, hopefully we can get Green Arrow, Black Canary, Martian Manhunter, maybe a few more on there

As much as I don't like getting teaser trailers a year and a half out, that trailer got me so excited. Ezra/Flash is gonna be cool. Still not sure about Cyborg, but I haven't seen enough. That shot of the waves crashing over Aquaman was awesome.

 

Apparently no CGI for that one too.

 

Really? Wouldn't that cause.....death? Anything for the shot!
