DC movies do generally show footage quicker than Marvel Studios films, but they also tend to have more time between the start of principal photography and the release of the film. Like, Aquaman started shooting 3 months before Ant-Man and the Wasp but comes out 5 and a half months after that film. The gap between the beginning of filming and the release for Justice League is also like 3 months longer than for Infinity War. Heck, we had our first official footage of Wonder Woman during a television special like two months before BvS came out. Some of the non-MCU Marvel films like New Mutants and Venom have been on the other end of the spectrum (assuming Venom still sticks to its current release date).
Speaking of DC movie tie-in food, idk if you tried that Superman cereal they made last year for BvS but it was actually pretty good.
hopefully the shorter run time makes it feel less bloated and poorly-paced, rather than rushed and thrown together.

Yep, the running time has been confirmed for 121 minutes. Kind of short when they need to establish 3 other main characters. I definitely see an extended cut blu ray release in the future.
Whedon was really proud of getting Age of Ultron down to like a minute shorter than the first Avengers, so it doesn't surprise me that he wanted to shorten this film. If he really got this down to just 2 hrs and 1 min, that sounds wonderful. Great way to make up for the tediousness of BvS.
BvS could have used a lot more tightening, so I would assume this is a good thing. Of course if this ends up being good, I'll wish it was longer lol
I believe that's the date of the Chinese premiere event, but they're not going to show the entire film. Someone on Reddit said they did the same with WW and only showed about 30min. Pretty sure their official release date is the same as ours.
