Always coming in with those Spiderman hot takes :-)

I really hate his legs and feet and that his arms arent human. I'm also not a fan that it looks like at some points his face is completely covered. He's a Broadway actor and you take him almost completely out of the movie? I just think it's a bad move.

I know I'm right when I disagree with Davjs. So, good enough for me.>-p

Sure. I'm just always wrong with no good points ever.

  4. Actually, that's the first time you've been right. I'd really wish you would just never quote me. I hate talking about movies with you.

Because of the Zack Synder bashing I defend and my hate for Interstellar? I can not quote you anymore though.

  6. I love Gal Gadot's little smirk. And the kick to get the sword up.

I hate the way this body looks so much, particularly the limbs. It makes sense as an initial design based on his origin (maybe they could have a brief body horror moment akin to that one sequence in Fant4stic that was actually cool and not trash), but I find it so aesthetically unappealing and a poor fit for a hero we should root for. Whatever film he's in next, I hope he gets a nice upgrade.

I don't like all the curves and lines, would dig something beefier and sleeker. But it also looks like a proto-cyborg and I feel like they must know that. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a tune up once the battle is over with another mother box or he like mends with some other alien tech.

    Maybe.

I dig the Injustice 2 skin a lot.

Maybe tone down the white a tad.

  12. Looks ok.. still too terminator/starship trooper/robo imo.

^ That's bulkier and blockier than what I'd want, but it's generally not a bad template. Mixing really light silver with really dark silver is a nice way to make the body pop more.

As someone whose first introduction to the character was the original Teen Titans cartoon, I'd selfishly love to see some blue worked into the design, but that's just me.

I think it looks fun. *ap.net shrug emoji*

I have been hesitant in the past because I feel like they definitely stumbled out of the gate with their cinematic universe, but I loved Wonder Woman and, despite my hesitation over the rewrites and reshoots for this, I like what we've seen of the dynamic between the characters. Question though, because I'm getting confused by the swirl of confusing news coming out about the nature of the universe going forward, they're not doing away with everything they've established are they? I know they recently said they want to focus on stand-alones in the future, but that doesn't meant they're going to nix what they've established does it?

  15. Holy shit I loved that trailer. Honestly excited now.

The Bowie cover gives it a Watchmen vibe. Clark (kind of) smiles? Love love it.

Except Cyborg. He looks like shit. Other than that, I love it.

They're just not gonna be slaves to shared continuity, and they're also gonna leave room for "Elseworlds"-type films like that Joker film in development. Outside of those special cases, though, all these films will still be in the same universe and use what has already been established. They just don't want the films to be dependent on each other and carry the same plot lines and character arcs like in the MCU.

Okay got it. That makes sense. The phrasing in some of these news stories is so weird and had me concerned they were going to pull the rug out from under me just when I was getting invested. Would’ve been a weird thing to do right before Justice League premieres.

Wonder Woman did a perfect job with working the universe I thought, for an origin or standalone film. With the only tie in being the photo and emailing with Bruce. Was perfect to delve deeper into Diana's history without pushing the meta-continuity forward or backward.

The new trailer didn't add a ton, nothing I didn't know anyway.

Trailer was a good hype for sure. I think the best trailer was the second one for sure. Cannot wait to see this.

Regarding this new JL trailer - what's up with the 5 second trailers... for trailers... these days? I'm seeing them more and more. I haven't been to a theater in a long time, so hopefully that's just a YouTube thing right?

I hate the trailer to the trailer before the trailer. It's been annoying since whenever it started becoming a thing.

Does anyone remember the first Spider Man movie trailer? Granted it's probably impossible to have that kind of reveal these days with every video file having a title meant for marketing, but it was at the movies, and it was a heist, and it ended with seeing the robbers caught in a web, that was so great and so minimal.
