Once again, Wonder Woman must demonstrate her ability as a fierce warrior. Facing a great enemy, she and Batman join forces to recruit a group of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. Having formed an unprecedented League of heroes, they set out to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

To me, one seems like it’s tryibg to be funny and campy and one is painfully serious. I know people are tired of hearing it, but it’s true.

Man, this is really bad phrasing when discussing a black character, lol. I was worried for a second that this headline meant his skin tone was getting lightened.

I'm all for more fun from Cyborg, especially since most people know him from Teen Titans. If they're gonna put money into the character, though, why not update that CGI body into something that doesn't look so much like tin foil?

Nerdist is saying that Danny Elfman will be scoring this, replacing replacing a more electro soundtrack that Snyder would have gone with.

Whedon made Wonder Woman more important in her role and gave her more of his signature dialog.

The Hall of Justice will exist in some capacity. It wasn't originally included, because it didn't fit the tone.

Two months of reshoots is crazy. Sounding like Suicide Squad all over again (with a much better guy behind the camera)

comicbook.com is a very ugly website. I have no idea what is going on with that thing.

/film says Whedon was also brought on to tweak/change the ending.

It now (supposedly) won't end on a cliffhanger setting up the arrival of Darkseid.

    I do not exist.

Sounds like some quite significant changes to tone, style and story. Interesting.

We need a cliff hanger though right? Doesn't everyone want to see Darkseid and the flash/nightmare Batman scene pay off from BvS? That can only happen in a JL 2, there won't be time for either in JL 1......

Are re-shoots still continuing? This releases in 3 months.

Why do we need a cliff hanger?

I don't think we need a cliffhanger, especially since we don't even have a release date for justice league 2.

I think the cliffhanger is already built in based on that BvS scene and the main villain being Steppenwolf, one of Darkseid's warriors. I don't need to see Darkseid to know he's coming down the road.

cliffhangers are shitty endings to movies and i honestly could not care less if anything from batman v. superman is resolved. except henry cavill coming back as superman and being better written.

Cliff hangers can work, but it's weird to say you need one.

We know Darkseid is coming. It's was teased in BvS and the inclusion of Steppenwolf means he's on the horizon. I agree -- I don't think a cliffhanger is necessary, especially when Justice League 2 isn't immediately following this movie.

Making Justice League just one complete story seems like one of the better decisions WB has made recently.

the fucking worst. ugly, full of click bait, and is more a wwe website than a comic book site. dropped them and several others. running out of places for good comic book/nerd news

I like to consider myself a well rounded nerd, so I stick to cbr, nerdist, kotaku, and polygon. They're all a bit clickbait-y at times, but I can usually rely on them for anything that isn't a list (I'm looking at you, CBR)

The only good thing to come out of the DC universe has been Wonder Woman. So, hearing that Joss Whedon is putting her more on the front of this movie is making me feel a little better.

I tried really hard to like Batman v. Superman and Suicide Squad, but they were just absolute snooze tests.

I really hope this is good.

Edit: also, I hope that this movie has a little more color to it. I'm getting pretty tired of all the dark tones and depressing color of these films.

Yeah, I guess since WB pushed JL 2 off of the schedule you don't really need a cliffhanger and need it all to wrap up. I guess I should have said "I want one because I want all this stuff to tie in" instead. Sounds like too much is going to be crammed into this then.

Whedon has cut Lex Luthor from the film.

Just curious, but are directors, producers, editors, etc. normally still working on a film when the release is less than two months away?
