skateboarding > football > soccer = hockey > baseball > basketball

And I do still like basketball. It's just annoying how the team with the best players is always obviously the team that wins and strategy / luck / superstitions like "home field advantage" really have nothing to do with that.

In terms of how much I enjoy actually following the sport and the narratives involved:

football > baseball > soccer > hockey > skateboarding > basketball

My main reason for liking football so much is because it's wildly strategic.

I mean, coaches all have several hundred page strategy books and they incessantly watch video on other teams to learn about their strategies and tendencies. So they know which specific "call" out of their 800-play book to call in each situation.

It's intense and there's no limit to how much you can learn about football and how teams scheme to win. Any bad team can beat any good team by having a good strategy, theoretically, and I'm not sure that's true of any other sport beyond a very cliche and basic level
