I had jury duty this year and was only there about an hour when the judge came in and said the guy had failed to show up and there was a warrant out for their arrest and we were free to go. Cool I guess but also fuck the police yk

Also only getting paid $40/day is fucking robbery

Fortunately i get mileage at 58 cents a mile. 47 miles away. At 50 they pay for your hotel room. Hahahahahaha yay. Plus $50 a day. Hopefully we get dismissed for the day soon

Only had to actually go to jury duty once and they had me come back for a second day. It was a murder trial which is actually pretty interesting but once I found out that alcohol was at play and they asked if any of your family members have a history with alcoholism I milked that shit so hard and I guess it worked cause I didn’t have to come back
