I don’t think there’s a film of his I genuinely disliked. There’s definitely elements I disagree with him using though.

 

Like the N-word scene in Pulp Fiction. So uncomfortable and unnecessary

 

Death Proof is still his worst (boring opinion, but yeah), and honestly that's bragging rights there

Not really a QT fan, but might see the new one. I have a free ticket I need to use that expires at end of month. But I did see The Farewell is planning near me now, so I might see that instead.

 

The biggest problem that movie had in Grindhouse was that after Planet Terror and the fake trailers, it just killed this energy that had been building up the whole time. I also didn’t dig how he abandoned the grindhouse aesthetic after the first act, but that’s a personal thing.

 

Really wanna see that one

 

Definitely wanna see The Farewell. And shame on me for still not seeing Midsommar

 

I'll probably see that this weekend! Mostly because I'm more interested and no idea how long it'll be at my closest theater. Maybe catch Once Upon a Time later.
