I made @EmmanuelSCastle and @CarpetElf shrimp scampi pasta last night.

We also listened to Sunny Day Real Estate, Sufjan Stevens, Elliott Smith, and a buuuunch of Kevin Devine, (plus I put on Radiohead while cooking) and were like dissecting every song lol

 

I love a good scampi

The Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc I bought pretty much did all the work for me. God damn the aroma and flavor of the wine was PERFECT

I forgot to thicken the sauce with a little olive oil at the end but it was still good, just didn’t cling to the noodles as much as I wanted. But I was thrilled with how the shrimp came out.

Sounds tasty! I've been using vermouth, sometimes half vermouth & half wine, in my scampi lately. I put alcohol in most things I cook haha
