Anyway thanks! Honestly I think it’s just a way we all deal with the uncertainty and the fact that we’ve never really seen anything bad (particularly in my neck of the woods) so it’s easier to joke about.
When they get serious it’s definitely intense/scary but until then it’s people panicking and trying to predict something that’s utterly unpredictable. I think bc we have no control over the hurricane we’re like well I can control the way I react to it lol
