I posted this last Friday for you to look at and you never responded, so I want to make sure you were aware. This is at my local regal and I was appalled. My wife and I sat under this (unknowingly) and when very cold water dropped on us, I turned around in my seat, and said loud enough for multiple people to hear, “oh hell no someone better not be throwing ice down here”. Then we looked up and saw this.

TLDR: Your former employer, at least in my area, is the worst theatre in at least a 100 square mile radius.

Seeing as you’re a former employee, I will accept any stolen gift cards you have as compensation for our troubles.

After 28 years of living, I no longer even continue conversations with people who talk like this.

I actually I had an acquaintance through a close friend start to get mad and nearly fight me once last summer, because we were discussing the reasons why, and he went into the elitist “don’t you know the Earth does this regularly? They can tell through history it’s why the Dinosaurs are gone” nonsense. I put my hand up laughing and said “I’m just gonna do you a favor and stop you there.” He was REAL mad. Even spilled his drink. Getting up from the table yelling and what not, it was embarrassing. But I’m not sure what was more embarrassing, his IQ level or the fact that he was yelling in public. We were good by the end of the night, but yeah, 0 tolerance for willful ignorance.

Today is my Friday!!! I got off work late, communicated with a bunch of angry ppl, and am rushing to do my laundry before I leave this weekend. I am exhausted and burnt out and cranky. But it's my weeeeekend. My long weekend.

Also this was posted in the comments of ontd and was super interesting, honest and relatable if anyone is bored or can't sleep tonight or struggles with anxiety

 

I'm trying to pinpoint why I'm so burnt out. It does suck to have to make a lot of high pressure decisions, continuously justify those decisions, and then still everyone is angry because of reasons outside of my control. I'm such a people pleaser by nature that it's exhausting for me. Idk what to do. Hopefully the weekend will give me a needed break and idek.... Like a brain shower? Brain cleanse? Brain vacay? I wanna live in the matrix deep deep in the matrix of ignorance.
