I’m walking away from the thread now lol like usual it spun crazy. First of all I only spoke up Bc of the blatant disregard of leerkats post. But of course it spun out into something else entirely but whatever

Also my username blindness is a curse here because I swear there are at least one user being extremely hypocritical (which like, yeah we’re all humans were all hypocrites) but it makes me feel like wait am I remembering right or what
Or people constantly tossing around the word “toxic” to describe people when I would have thought at least one of those people were toxic themselves, but again maybe my memory is misserving me.

This is why I need a confidante to fill me in on all the shit I can’t keep track of. I need a tldr rundown of each user!!

Good problems to have

 

You guys are way better and more advanced at discussing the topic so I just shut up and read but it's so easy for me to truly reflect on it by personalizing it, if whatever artist/actor/personality abused someone I knew personally (family/friends/aquaintances) and then continued to walk on the same path of fame and work how would that make me feel? Fucking awful and pissed off. So fuck them. It's that simple to me.

I feel the same way, i've read that thread a few times to keep up with what's going on this scene but i'm not nearly articulate enough to contribute in a meaningful way, but also my voice isn't the one that needs to be heard either. There are quite a few people in that thread who do a really good job educating others and it's invaluable to learn from them

 

i think the convo started in good faith but devolved into a circle jerk bc centrists think a conversation is saying the same thing the last person said in a slightly different way which turns into like establishing comfort instead of confronting the situation. which is to say I don't really think anyone in there is a bad person just inexperienced w the topics and maybe lacking in reading comprehension. I don't mean this in a rude way either
