Mostly just tired from the past three days and once I tackle about 20 more minutes of work now that I'm home, I'll be OK. With the 3 long days done, tomorrow and Friday will be normal, plus I will be working from home. Tomorrow might be a short day even since my boss invited me to join him and his brother tomorrow--might join since both are cool to hang around. (I was out on dinner with the brother and two friends tonight since my boss/colleague was too tired to join.) The plus side is I felt truly accepted by some people in my industry tonight, which makes me cry happy tears a little. I struggle heavily with imposter syndrome and to have them all accept me as doing well was a nice feeling.

okay we clearly haven't gotten to know each other well enough lol. i just ate two bowls of plain white rice with old bay seasoning.

 

my least favorite part about Julien Baker's Turn Out the Lights song is that the final chorus isn't turned up to a volume that is just a hair shy of bursting your ear drums. There's no reason at all not to listen to that song at a volume that is anything short of detrimental to my health.

I watched a guy trying to parallel park for like 10 minutes only to rear end the car in front of him at one point, right as the owner of that car came out from the store. The second hand embarrassment was strong.

The most relatable moment in Frasier is when Niles is trying to counsel Martin and Frasier and it doesn't work. Martin sarcastically says "you do this for a living, do you?" And Niles angrily yells "I DO IT BECAUSE I ENJOY WORKING WITH PEOPLE!!" it sums up like my entire existence lmao
