Just went on an intense bike ride. Went through forest trails and down stairs and on boardwalks etc all around Piedmont Park... and then rode the 3 miles uphill back down to East Atlanta at a continuous brisk pace.

I feel like a badass on that bike. Fuck a road bike, I ain’t trying to get hit by cars anyway, my bike handles the busted up sidewalks and roots / rocks on trails like it’s nothing. And it’s so smooth uphill too.

 

Also checked out Sweet Auburn. I can ride down there in 5 minutes versus a 20 minute walk any time I want to go drinking. Gonna do that more often now.

lol old managers for the restaraunt i used to work for called me, asked if i could work a weekend shift next week. i was like fuck no and they were like "well, [name of close friend] and [one of the managers] wanna take off that day for [name of close friend's] bday" like obviously i want her to have a good birthday but also the whole thing sucks and if i could never serve a customer again i would be insanely happy
