I don’t live in the Bay Area. SoCal is a lot cheaper and I also happen to get an amazing deal. But like, I’m still basically living that paycheck to paycheck life

I give handjobs like they're going out of style.

Nah, but really I somehow have a decent-paying job and live in the east bay where it's slightly more affordable.

 

Man that's dope and crazy.

 

It also comes with paralyzing anxiety over what would happen if I'm ever imperfect and get like fired. It's super fun! But that's probably just in my head? I dunno. Anxiety super sucks. I also don't save as well as I should, admittedly.

But I do love living here. Much better than AZ ever was.

 

Oh yeah AZ is terrible haha. Better to have no money in the Bay than money in Arizona.

 

I would love to win the lottery and take you all on the pub crawl in my hometown. That’s the dream.

 

Yup. I don't regret the move. I just would prefer more savings, but that will require me getting better at telling my depressed brain to not buy something. If I can be good for a couple months, I'll be better able to overcome any issues.

 

I could get drunk for the first time.

Nope. Never really been around people who drink much growing up and in my 20s. Like my friends don't really drink at all (one due to an alcoholic father), and so only my sister does much drinking and she literally moved to the other side of the country when I got the job here, lol (she desperately wants back tho).

And like getting drunk by myself is somehow too depressing, even for me.

 

Ahh, makes sense then. Despite all the jokes y’all make, it’s incredibly rare that I’ll drink alone. If all of my friends weren’t such active drinkers, I probably wouldn’t as much either.

 

But it’s so easy with friends to just be like, “wanna get a drink?” If that makes sense

 

Nah that makes sense. I only really drink during work parties.

And let me say, just because me drinking alone depresses me, doeesn't mean I'm judging anyone else who wishes to do so. I'm not here to judge anyone for their choices.
